Beyond/In WNY is taking place at a spectacularly varied number of locations throughout the Buffalo/ Niagara Region. From the 12 collaborating venues to the new addition of cultural institutions such as WNY Book Arts Center and the Buffalo and Erie County Historical society, to exterior places and unconventional spaces, Beyond/In will activate the entire region with its wide range of contemporary art exhibitions, performances and screenings.

Beginning with a stunning tightrope walk on September 23 by artist Didier Pasquette, the exhibition will open at all venues beginning September 24, 2010, and remain on view through December 2010. Beyond/In Western New York will explore the regionally relevant theme Alternating Currents, and its implications of power and energy.
